Modern Warfare II release date and more
As of today, there has been no confirmation of the game's release date. However, according to the leak, the entire highly anticipated sequel will arrive in Q4 this year. Fans can assume that the game will be officially open to the public in October and December.
There will also be an extraction-type game mode called DMZ, like Escape from Tarkov or Battlefield Hazard Zone, as the leaker indicates. The new campaign in the game will also revolve around a drug cartel in Ciudad Juarez. The campaign will focus more on melee and tactical gunfights.
According to an insider report, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II also brings back popular multiplayer maps from MW 2. These maps will be remastered versions of the old ones.
Despite the massive success of MW (2019), the Call of Duty series isn't doing very well with its primary games. Fans are hoping that MW II will turn things around for the game giants.
