COD Mobile Season 4 Trailer To Reveal Satellite And Khandor Maps
COD Mobile Satellite and Khandor Teaser show that Activision is ready to take things in a more modern direction.
Satellite is one of the few maps that players love outside of Black Ops – Cold War. Bringing some maps from the new era is just the beginning, as COD Mobile wants to move in a more "modern Call of Duty" direction.
While it's still unclear in which direction the game is heading, a pretty good picture can be drawn from the clues we have. As many modern weapons, skins, and maps are introduced, players can look forward to an experience that encompasses both old and new COD games in one package.
Satellite Returns to Call of Duty
Although the map was released during the BO – Cold War era, it quickly became a fan favorite in 2020. Also released as part of Cold War's open beta, this is an open map that reminds us of the old Black Ops 2 maps.
The map is perfectly sized for the quick kill time of COD games, making it an ideal candidate for mobile. It also makes a ton of guns viable. Although the map was relatively small, it was a favorite of snipers.
While the layout of the map makes it look pretty obvious, it's perfect for any player. With so many places to visit and surprisingly few campsites, the Satellite will undoubtedly climb to the top on mobile.
It was also a favorite of competitive teams in the Cold War. COD Mobile will undoubtedly make a splash on the esports scene.
The teaser image also confirms that Satellite will be the first COD Mobile map to feature vehicles in multiplayer mode.
Warzone Mobile is also on the horizon, and more and more “Modern Warfare Timeline” pieces are being integrated into COD Mobile. It looks like the game is aiming for new heights and pushing the boundaries of mobile gaming.
The Khandor map was also lightly teased, but it seemed to offer some balance changes to better suit COD Mobile. It is unclear whether the Khandor map will be a limited-time map or a special mode.
While fans think Khandor is likely to be the second map to be teased, the teaser isn't quite as concrete as the Satellite map.
