There are many bosses to defeat in Elden Ring, but only some need to be made for the story. Here are all the mandatory bosses in Elden Ring.The Lands In Between face many challenges along your journey as the Tarnished. However, some challenges are completely optional.
While it's a good idea to beat optional bosses, especially those with early game weapons, they aren't necessary.
But if you just want to advance the story, here are the bosses you must defeat to reach the end of the game.
Which Bosses Are Required in Elden Ring?
Elden Ring has a minimum total of 12 mandatory bosses that you must defeat before completing the game.Before you get on the list, you need to kill two shardbearers (Great Rune Bearers) to advance the story. You can choose any of the two, but some have an extra boss that must be defeated before them.
