It's no secret that FromSoftware likes to add brutal and unusual types of damage to its games. Elden Ring is no different, here's how to get to the Madness-Flaming Tower without getting caught in Madness!

Poison, Scarlet Rot, Sleep and even instant death! Elden Ring includes at least seven Status Effects that can ruin your day or make it if you have it.

Madness is unique because it not only harms health but also consumes your FP! So, whatever your build, you need to keep your Tarnished mind (or at least the best FP talisman in the game).

However, the Frenzy-Flaming Tower holds the loot and, more importantly, guards the path to other key areas of the In-between Realms. Then,

How to Get Rid of the Frenzy-Flaming Tower Approach

Frenzy-Flaming Tower is located on a hill just south of Dectus Grand Lift in the Liurnia region of the Lakes region.

Any Lord of the Rings fan out there will immediately recognize the inspiration for this Lands In-between location. Because the structure resembles the Tower of Sauron.

Above the Frenzy-Fiery Tower is a yellow, eternally burning flame of madness. If you're in sight as you climb the hill, Madness will build up within you.

Therefore, you will need to use a cover to block its appearance. There are many large rocks scattered around the slope that may hinder your approach.

You should make sure you have Clarifying Boluses in your inventory that can alleviate the onset of madness.

Alternatively, you can use the nearby valley to get behind the tower and the Torrented Spiritspring to reach the summit. This method will avoid some Madness, but requires speed rather than stealth.

Inside the Frenzy-Flaming Tower

Once inside, quickly send the four Rats home calling. Then, climb the ladder.

Next, you'll find a chest containing a powerful Spell… but leave that for now. Climb the next ladder and you'll find a group of Insane Villagers at the top of the tower.

Kill them and put an end to the frenzied situation once and for all.

You are now free to go down and get the loot inside the chest. Incantation, Howl of Shabriri, reverses the status of your enemies, giving you the power to inflict Madness on them.
