The Elden Ring Plague Church is an important landmark in the Calid area because although small, here you will find Milicent, a female NPC who needs your help.

Also, besides the Talisman you will get from Milicent, there are a few items you might want to find in the Plague Church.

Elden Ring Plague Church Site – Where to Find It?

As you explore Caelid in the video game developed by FromSoftware, you will encounter the Plague Church on the east side of the area.

You can see the location of the Plague Church on my map below. This church rules the Wizarding City of Sellia.

It's also worth mentioning that unless you explore Sellia, this church is accessible from the north road due to a magic barrier, you can't pass it early in the game.

So, go around Sellia to get to the church, then deal with the two guards at the entrance.

Elden Ring Caelid Plague Church Items Locations – Where To Find It?

Once inside the church, take all the Sacred Buds inside the ruins. These are required to produce Protective Boluses and Enchanting Branches.

Now you'll want to grab the Holy Tear in front of the Plague Church statue below.

Finally, activate the nearby Grace Site and, if necessary, search the cemetery outside.

Elden Ring Church of the Plague Girl – How to Help Milicent

The girl in question is called Milicent and is an important NPC you will encounter later in the game.

You can see him below, and if you get close to him, she won't say much except that he's sick, rotten.

Now, you can kill him, but that would be an extremely bad choice because you would miss his turn of quests.

The problem here is that you have to figure out how to help Milicent, and depending on how much Caelid you discover, this can be difficult.

So talk to him, then find Gowry's Shack southwest of the Plague Church.

Without breaking the game, you must play and finish Gowry's quest detailed in this guide to save Milicent in The Church Of The Plague.

However, you should know that this quest is not over when you save Milicent and get the Prosthetic Wearer Relic Talisman.

There are additional steps you can follow that will take you to Gowry's store items, all outlined here.

Finally, after rescuing Milicent in the Elden Ring, you will begin the questline that spans the entire northern region, starting at the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace in the Altus Plateau region.
