Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks: Yelan's constellation update, expected release date and more
Yelan is an upcoming five-star character in Genshin Impact. It will be released in version 2.7 alongside Kuki Shinobu, a four-star Electro Sword user. The 2.7 beta testing revealed a lot about Yelan. It looks like there will be a main damage dealer/sub DPS whose gameplay style is similar to Xingqiu. The hype of this five-star bow user is untrue because of his mysterious personality and explosive combat abilities.
Here are some of the latest changes made to Yelan's kit during Genshin Impact 2.7 beta testing.
Yelan's constellations updated before release in Genshin Impact 2.7
Before moving on to the changes, it's important for readers to learn about Yelan's constellations:C1 : During the Elemental Skill, each opponent marked by Yelan regenerates 7 energy. A maximum of 21 energies can be restored in this way.
A2 : Lingering Lifeline (Elemental Skill) charges an additional charge that will dissipate 20 percent of Yelan's max power. HP as Hydro damage every 2.8 seconds.
C4 : Exquisite Throw deals 30% more damage from Elemental Burst.
C6 : Significantly strengthens Yelan's Basic Attacks. This constellation transforms them into Breakthrough Spikes and their Basic Attacks are considered Charged Attack DMG, dealing 130% of their normal damage.
Leaks on the Wangsheng Funeral Hall Discord server observed the following changes in the latest beta:
C2 : The surcharge dissipates 14% of Yelan's max HP as Hydro DMG every 1.8 seconds.
One of Yelan's passive abilities (unlocked at Ascension 4):
As long as an Exquisite Throw is in play, your own active character deals one percent more Damage. This increased by 3.5 percent of Damage per second. The maximum amount of Damage that can be increased is 50 percent.
A new description has been added to this ability:
reusing the Depth Clarion Dice while the explosion is still active will remove the original effect above.
In simple words, if players use Yelan's Elemental Blast while the passive effect is active, it will reset. This isn't a big deal for casual gamers/low spenders, and it looks like a balance update most likely to prevent the C6 Raiden Shogun and Yelan from breaking.
