The latest GTA 6 rumors have not made fans around the world very happy.

Much of the community expected to receive a trailer for the game by the end of 2022. Now, that seems much less likely.

Rockstar has a lot on their hands and is now dealing with all the blunders they've made over the past year, and if we think logically it's pretty unrealistic to expect a clean trailer for the next game in nine months.

GTA 6 trailer was the most exciting prospect of the year

An industry source known as Ben (@videotech_ on Twitter) has revealed that he hasn't seen much in the GTA this year aside from the standard DLCs and maybe a few more. He said a trailer for GTA 6 "maybe" would be possible, but the way it was framed has led many to think it's a sign of things to come. He and one commentator agreed that the 2022 trailer is now highly unlikely.

The conversation has turned to Red Dead Redemption 2, and there seems to be a lot of belief that this game will get a little more attention this year. This has caused more fans to imagine yet another pushback on the timeline as they try to juggle too much with Rockstar and keep everyone happy. With GTA+, GTA Trilogy, and Expanded & Enhanced Edition lately, Rockstar really has a lot to do to make up for fans after so much disappointment.

Much of the community is hoping that at least someone from Rockstar will be able to provide clear and honest answers soon, so fans and gamers can relax a bit more. Until then, the rumor mill will continue to spread all kinds of confusing and contradictory information, leaks and rumors. But fans should enjoy the many fan-made trailers for GTA 6 as they are sure to get better in the next few years.

Online community members are still counting the days for the release of the original trailer of GTA 6. Unfortunately, with all the recent uproar, it seems unlikely to happen by the end of 2022. Fans will be crossing their fingers for an actual trailer for early 2023.
