During the Clash of Lone Blades event, players will have to battle warriors to earn free Primogems, Hero's Wit and more. Each warrior will have their own attack pattern as well as a special attack called the Honed Technique.
With practice, players can shorten the timing for an excellent parry against ordinary attacks. However, making a perfect parry against Honed Techniques can be daunting and some players may not be able to do it. For players who have trouble making a perfect parry, Genshin Impact has added a visual indicator to time the parry perfectly.
When warriors use their Honed Techniques, their weapons will glow. This is a visual cue to help players parry times. Players must press the E/Parry button as soon as they see the weapon glow to consistently perform the perfect parry.
An excellent parry against ordinary techniques can grant 1 Stacks of Prowess, while parrying Honed Techniques grants 3 Stacks of Stacks. Stacks of Valor ensure that the Wanderer's next attack is a guaranteed Critical Hit. The damage dealt to the critical strike is based on the number of stacks players have during the Critical Strike. Up to 3 stacks of Valor can be earned.
