Elden Ring's Spirit Summoning system is a great mechanic that can often make some of the toughest encounters in the game significantly easier. Each Spirit Ash brings something new to the table, offering something different for each encounter in the game. However, some calls are significantly more reliable and powerful than others.

The third-stage summons in FromSoftware's latest tile are some of the most trusted Spirit Ashes in the game. The only downside is that they require a significantly larger amount of FP to cast.

One such call that players fall in love with is the Nightmaiden and Swordstress call. This Noxtellian Puppet duo made exploring some of the challenging areas in the Lands Between a breeze.

However, coming to the call itself is a little tricky. This guide will provide players with a step-by-step guide to get it.

Obtain Nightmaiden and Swordstress Ouija in Elden Ring

The Nightmaiden and Swordstress spirits are ancient puppets made in the Eternal City. These sisters were of a cold-blooded race that chose to be puppets of their own free will. This call features one of the toughest duos in the game and can quickly do the job for some of the harder bosses Elden Ring has to offer.

Unfortunately, Ring of Blackened Elden won't be able to capture Spirit Ash early in the game as the summon is locked behind some progress.

In order to obtain it, they will have to wait until they reach the Eternal City of Noxtella.

To obtain it, the Blackened Elden Ring will need to:

• Discover Noxtella and activate the Noxtella Eternal City Blessing Zone. After this point, they must climb one flight of stairs on the left. Many different enemies will be waiting for them here, such as slimes of different shapes, sizes and varieties, including the Exploding and Phalanx variants.
• After passing Slimes, the Tarnished will encounter enemy Nightmaidens and Swordstresses wielding whips and daggers. These enemies can deal an incredible amount of damage if players are not careful. They hit hard and can surprise their key players fairly easily.
• Once you get past the first wave of mobs, Elden Ring Tarnished will need to keep climbing until you reach the top. At the top of the stairs, they will encounter a bridge on the right. The Blackened, however, will need to go left until they reach a wall of fog that will be locked behind a golem statue and will need a Stone Sword key to unlock it.
• There will be two Nightmaidens waiting inside the wall of fog, which can be quite challenging depending on the player's build and the amount of Runes they invest in their character. Moreover, the two can pose a threat together, so it is recommended that the Blackened divide and conquer this place.
• Players can bait someone with a throwing dagger and then defeat him. They can also use powerful summons and attack them. When summons distract one enemy, players will be able to take out the other.
• After defeating the enemies, players will find a chest right in the middle of the room. When they interact with it, they will be rewarded with the Nightmaiden and Swordstress spirit summon.
