Lost Arc Bugs, Known Issues, and Workarounds

Lost Ark has just been released for western audiences and players are loving it. The game is well optimized, but some rare bugs and known issues can be found here and there. However, if you run into any problems, we will provide some workarounds that you can use. A compiled list of Lost Ark errors on PC and their fixes can be found here.

That said, we took these issues on our own and therefore compiled a few issues and their fixes that might help you out. We experienced some of these issues ourselves while playing the game. Without further ado, let's get straight  to the point and take a look at Lost Ark's known issues, bugs, and workarounds.

All Lost Ark Known Issues and Bugs

We've compiled a list of the most known issues along with most of their fixes in Sifu. If you don't see your problem listed, let us know! We'll add it right here. Note that some bugs have not yet been fixed as the game is relatively new. However, we will update the list as soon as it is fixed.

Cutscene Issues

This is a rare issue but some players have reported it. As soon as you enter a cutscene, the items your character holds will start to move randomly. This happens every now and then, if not all the time. The developers are working hard to fix this issue so we should see it fixed in the next patch.

User Interface Error

This error can really get annoying very quickly. It is most common if you have the Gunlancer class. You will probably see tutorial popups on your screen over and over. On top of that, if you unmute your microphone, you can still talk but still see it muted. This only happens if you have Push to Talk enabled. Finally, you will notice that the player names in the voice chat are “Unknown Player”. There are tons of other UI bugs as well but these are the most common.

Graphics Errors

If you clicked "Restore to defaults" in the graphics settings, all settings will be set to "High" automatically. Also, if you are using 4K resolution, the UI will overlap each other. To fix this, you need to restart the game. But the developers are investigating these bugs and will fix them soon.

Translation Issues

While this isn't a big deal, it can be quite annoying. When reading the Player Coordination Book, the text will only be displayed in English, despite your language preference. To fix this issue you will need to set your language preference again in settings. However, there is no permanent fix for now.

Missing Audio

The sound will randomly disappear during several selected cutscenes. Not only that, you'll also notice that background audio is missing during character creation. The music will sometimes overlap; It's pretty annoying to listen to. The easy solution to this is to restart your game or turn the sound off and then back on.

Incorrect Controller Inputs

When using a controller – third party or otherwise – you will notice that the key inputs are not displayed correctly. The keybindings will be keyboard + mouse instead of controller. Also, you will not be able to access the "Friend List" with a remote. There is currently no fix for this. You can try reconnecting the controller to see if it works.
