Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro opens up to the world with custom gaming chip UDC

The Nubia Red Magic 7 was introduced in February and the vanilla phone went on sale worldwide just days after its launch. Now we invite the nubia Red Magic 7 Pro and its under-screen camera to the global stage.

The gaming brand is all about performance with the Red Magic 7 Pro - you get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM. The dedicated gaming chip is called Red Core 1 and takes care of sound, RGB lighting, and haptic feedback so the main chipset can focus on what it does best: games.

Hard play means a lot of heat, so nubia has applied nine different layers of heat dissipation material, including 4,124 sq.mm. steam room distribution plate. This Red Magic 7 Pro phone has a new turbofan that can reach 20,000 rpm while being "super quiet".

Early booking offers start on April 22. The Obsidian Black version comes with 256GB of storage and will cost $799 / €799 / £679. The transparent version is called Supernova, it comes with 512GB of internal storage and will be priced at $899 / €899 / £759.

The only difference between the Global Red Magic 7 Pro and the Chinese one is that international markets get a relatively conservative 65W fast charging for a 5,000mAh battery instead of 135W.
