GTA fans rejoice as Rockstar indirectly confirms the release of the next game in the series, allegedly called GTA 6. The company announced that the development of the game continues. This is in line with previous leaks and rumors suggesting that GTA 6 is under construction. The game will replace the long-running GTA V; However, we don't see this happening anytime soon. The launch of GTA 6   wasn't rumored until 2024 or 2025.

"With GTAV's unprecedented longevity, we know many of you have been asking us about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series," says the blog post shared by Rockstar Games, showing that the company is aware that it's been a long time. GTA V is out and for something new. GTA V was first released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013, more than eight years after GTA IV was released in 2008.

That said, there are currently no trailers or tentative release dates for GTA 6. However, Rockstar promised to share more information soon.

As for the name, Rockstar hasn't given us a name yet, but we expect it to be called GTA 6 (or GTA VI) as it's a model the studio has been following for years. Also, there's no clue where the next GTA will take place, but rumors suggest that the studio may return to Miami for GTA 6.
