Where to find the Swarm of Flies enchantment in Elden Ring?

The Swarm of Flies spell in Elden Ring is one of many offensive spells that players can learn.

Like most of the spells found in Lands Between, the Swarm of Flies spell can be found in the game's world. This means that players don't have to defeat an enemy to purchase or obtain it.

However, to obtain the Swarm of Flies spell, players will need to find Mohgwyn Palace. This is a secret area under the Caelid realm, on the east wall of which there is a corpse where the spell was cast.

How to get the Swarm of Flies enchantment in Elden Ring

Interestingly, there are two ways to get to Mohgwyn Palace, both require some work to reach and obviously quite a lot of travel. Currently, getting to the hidden area under Caelid is the only way to obtain the Swarm of the Flies.

Here are the methods to reach Mohgwyn Palace:

• Use the teleporter northwest of the Yelough Anix Ruins in the Blessed Snow Field
• Use the Thoroughbred Knight Medal awarded by White-Faced Varré after completing the questline

When players finally reach the Mohgwyn Palace area, they can find a map by looting a corpse in the stairwell leading to the palace. This can be found right next to some hostile Albinaurics that summon giant skeletons to attack.

Owning this map will make it easier to locate the Swarm of Flies enchantment. Players should note that the corpse holding the spell is also guarded by the Albinauriks.

To find the magic

Head east of the map location or north of the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace

• Continue to the bloody swamp of Mohgwyn Palace
• Follow the cliff on the right and find a cave
• Cross that cave by continuing to follow the cliffs
• Enter the second cave that appears
• Defeat the albinaurics and go to the back of the cave
• Loot the corpse there to get the Swarm of Flies

Once possessed, players can now use this Elden Ring spell, which unleashes a swarm of attacking blood flies to damage enemies and increase blood loss. It costs 24 Stamina and 14 Faith Points and requires players to have at least 11 Faith and 16 Arcane to use.
