Battlefield 2042 Season One possible release dates, new content and more

Battlefield 2042's long-awaited Season One is finally here, and those crying out for new content can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, it took a long time and seasonal content was delayed to arrive.


While DICE and EA haven't officially announced any dates or content, industry insider Tom Henderson, in collaboration with Xbox Era podcast's Nick Baker, revealed some key dates

Season One is supposed to arrive in early spring 2022, and gamers are expected to continue throughout the year. It would be the first of his four seasons. DICE explained that the delay is related to the quality they want to deliver.

However, it proved difficult for Battlefield 2042 players as the desired quality was lacking. Most of the issues at launch are still there and many have blamed the developers. The TryHardGuides report has unofficially revealed some key dates that players should be concerned about.

The report stated that Season One will air on June 9, 2022. A series of trailers will precede the main content on June 7, 2022. The most likely release date will be as follows.

DICE didn't elaborate on the possible content, but reliable leaker Temporal has already revealed some of the things to come. For example, Battlefield 2042 players will receive a brand new expert in Ewelina Lis. The specialist will also receive his own trailer, which will be announced.

It remains to be seen what the players' reception will be. Overall, most Battlefield 2042 players didn't like the experts and the way they were implemented. Most players believe that there is no need for experts and that the old class system is better.

There will also be a battle pass with various rewards on it. Those who buy the Gold/Ultimate version will most likely get the premium version. However, this can only be confirmed when Season One begins.
