Fall Guys Spartan Showdown: Release date, time, rewards and more revealed

To celebrate the free-to-play game, Fall Guys developers Mediatonic will be launching a crossover event with Halo called the "Spartan Showdown." The week ends on the 4th of July.

During the event, players will be able to complete various challenges for a chance to obtain a variety of Halo-themed cosmetics.

The announcement was originally made as part of the Xbox Games Showcase Extended event, where Mediatonic stated that Falls Guys players could see the Master Chief make his way into the battle royale cosmetically.

The Pass will celebrate the title, which is finally free-to-play and reaches Xbox and Nintendo.

As the event will only last for five days, players will have a limited time to get all the event-exclusive cosmetics that Spartan Showdown has to offer.

Fall Guys Spartan Showdown event: All features and rewards

Fall Guys' upcoming Spartan Showdown event will primarily be a Duos-based competition that will host up to 22-30 players per game.

Fans will be able to earn 1 Crown for each win in the six different competitions that will be presented during the event.

For racing courses, players will play:toe

For survival based competitions, players will be able to enjoy big shot

As for the rewards, Mediatonic has yet to offer a list of goodies that players can get their hands on. But for now, they've mentioned a few of the things fans can achieve as they continue to complete challenges in the event. These:

Spartan at Heart (Alias) - 100 points

200 Kudos - 200 points

SPARTAN (Nameplate) - 500 points

AI Structure (Pattern) - 700 points

Purrfect Helmet - Top (Costume) - 1000 points

However, each level in Spartan Showdown will have its own variation inspired by the 117, and each will have its own helmet that players can collect, taking event difficulties into account.

Like the rewards, Mediatonic didn't elaborate on the type of challenges players must complete to obtain the cosmetics. As such, Fall Guys fans will have to wait until tomorrow for more information after the Spartan Showdown event officially kicks off.
