Heizou and Kuki Shinobu release dates on Genshin Impact

Kuki Shinobu and Heizou are two new characters that some Genshin Impact players might want to know when their release dates are. 

These two characters will appear in two separate banners, but they are both 4-star characters. Thus, they will be pretty easy to obtain, meaning they won't have to spend a lot of Primogem to get them.


Expected release dates: Kuki Shinobu: June 21, 2022
Heizou: July 13, 2022

These dates are based on several factors. Yelan's banner expires on June 21, 2022, which means Itto's banner should launch shortly. Similarly, miHoYo has confirmed that Genshin Impact 2.8 will be released on July 13, 2022.

Several leaks indicated that Heizou would be featured in the first poster to date.

Kuki Shinobu poster release date on Genshin Impact 2.7

All that has been officially revealed about Itto's banner is that it is the second banner in Genshin Impact 2.7 and has Kuki Shinobu on it. miHoYo did not specify a specific date, but the earliest possible release date will be June 21, 2022.

That date is the date that Yelan and Xiao's banners ended. It would make sense for Itto's flag to start shortly after these two characters' Event Wishes are over.

Given that Kuki Shinobu is known to be a 4-star character, some fans may be wondering who the two featured 4-stars remaining on his banner are. Unfortunately for them, it is currently unknown who these two characters will be.

All the gameplay details of Kuki Shinobu have already been leaked. His Elemental Talent is a 4-star Electro Sword user who sacrifices some of his HP to inflict Electro DMG to nearby enemies and have the ability to heal allies. Elemental Burst deals AOE Electro DMG and lasts longer if he has 50% or less HP while using it.

Heizou poster leaked on Genshin Impact 2.8

Compared to Kuki Shinobu, miHoYo never confirmed which banner Heizou could be summoned in Genshin Impact 2.8. Current leaks indicate that he will appear on the first poster of the upcoming update, but various leaks are in conflict over which 5-star character will be next.


As with the previous one, the remaining 4-star characters on this poster are unknown. If Heizou had appeared on the first poster of Genshin Impact 2.8, the release date would have been July 13, 2022.

Travelers should keep in mind that such leaks are always subject to change, so they should be aware that there is a chance that this leak could be wrong.
