Honkai Impact 3rd v5.8 update: Release date, time and patch notes

Only a few days left until the latest release of Honkai Impact 3rd, each Captain is gearing up for a new epic in the story alongside new battle gear. Griseo, a leading character and member of the Flame Chasers, will become playable and join the ranks. Typically, it will have its own set of gear released through gacha.

Honkai Impact 3rd's v5.8 is scheduled for release on June 30, titled "Canvas of Stars". Players will receive a new chapter in the Open World of Elysia Everlasting, along with new events, features, and a challenge mode. There will also be unique rewards and bonuses after the update is released.

Similar to previous examples, Hoyoverse will be doing maintenance before the update is released.

Expected server downtime for all regions during Honkai Impact 3rd v5.8 update maintenance

The ongoing story arc featuring Flame Chasers was supposed to be the longest story in the history of the game. Hoyoverse had previously announced that it could expect the Elysian Realm episode of Captains to continue until v5.9, which will be the end of Mei's arc in the simulation.

The previous update introduced a Colosten-like open world from Episodes XXVI to XXVIII and was called Elysia Everlasting. With the upcoming episode being chapter 30 of the main storyline, Hoyoverse is gearing up for arguably their most influential arc in recent times while adding minor events and mods to the mix.

As mentioned earlier, Hoyoverse will be removing their official servers to keep the update running smoothly. All zones are scheduled to be updated after maintenance is complete. Additionally, players can pre-load files a few days before release.

Update maintenance times in all regions are as follows:

SEA servers: 10:00 - 16:00 (30 June, UTC +8).

American servers: from 23:00 (29 June) to 5:00 (30 June, UTC -5).

Europe servers: 5:00 - 11:00 (UTC +1 on 19 May)

For gacha, players can pick up Griseo's battle suit and his unique weapon, the Elysian Astra, as well as the Depictor Impression set, a three-set stigmata. Version 5.8 will also come with a new weapon for Thunder Herrscher called Seven Thunders of Retribution and a new outfit called Haunted Dusk.

While Griseo will be an SP-class Valkyrie, players can search for their favorite S-ranked ones, as they will be available in abundance through replays in the Expansion Resource.
