How can you redeem World of Warcraft Prime Gaming rewards, including the Hood of Hungering Darkness and more?
Longtime World of Warcraft fans will once again be able to get their hands on three new cosmetic helmets that Blizzard backed up a long time ago.
First released in 2013, helmets with fire, dark, and winter themes were once exclusive cosmetic upgrades to the in-game store. However, six years after publication, the items were removed from there and archived in the "See You Later Pack".
Fortunately for longtime fans, Jewel of the Firelord, Hood of Hungering Darkness, and Crown of the Eternal Winter will all be returning to the game as a form of Amazon Prime Gaming.
World of Warcraft recently formed a partnership with Amazon Prime Gaming that rewards players with Cosmetic Helmets and other collectible rewards. That's why today's guide will cover how gamers can get all the rewards offered through the Prime Gaming partnership.
Receiving World of Warcraft Prime Gaming rewards
Back in March 2022, Blizzard first announced its partnership with Prime Gaming and announced that some of its bigger titles, such as Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, and World of Warcraft, will receive their own rewards.
Three months after the announcement, players finally get a chance to redeem the drops. But the first drop that World of Warcraft fans can get will be Jewel of Firelord. The remaining two helmets will be available at a much later date.
To claim their first loot from Prime Gaming, players must:
Create separate accounts on both Twitch and Prime games. It is the most basic step of the process. Each player will need to do this before they are eligible to claim Prime Gaming rewards on any of their favorite games.
After creating both individual accounts, players will now need to associate their Blizzard account with the account made on Twitch. To do this, fans must head to the Twitch Connections page in the settings menu, where they will find the Blizzard Battle.net section where they will have the option to choose a region and log into their Blizzard account.
After doing that, players should head over to the Prime Gaming Rewards page for World of Warcraft. After logging into the account, they will be asked to verify their Blizzard account and only then will they be eligible to claim their loot.
After following all the steps, players can now get the helmet. All they have to do is launch Blizzard Battle.net on their computer and log into their Blizzard account.
After doing this, they will be asked to start the game and visit the transmog vendor, which can be found in the capital. By doing this, they will be able to seize the cosmetic item automatically.
