Different players love to play different characters, and Genshin Impact has a system to show the bond between them.

There are various ways for players to collect tons of companion EXP for the characters they desire to quickly increase their friendship level. Note that most methods will require the desired character to be placed in the party in order to receive all the parity EXP.

Genshin Impact players reading this during the release of patch 2.7 can also participate in the Spices from the West event to increase the friendship level of the characters by allowing them to try foods with new spices.

The most effective ways to quickly increase the friendship level of desired characters in Genshin Impact are:

1) Diaries and Daily Commission rewards

Completing daily commissions and collecting rewards from the Adventurers Guild is a way to gain friendship EXP and increase a character's friendship level. The amount of comrade EXP collected with this method may not seem like much, but it is the most consistent method of increasing one's friendship level.

Travelers can earn anywhere between 45-60 EXP from the daily rake and 100 EXP from the Adventurer's Guild rake reward. While navigating Tevyat, random events may appear to accompany Genshin Impact players with additional EXP.

That's why it's important for players to add characters they want to increase their friendship level with while completing the rake and getting their bonus rewards.

2) Serenity Pot

Players can place their characters in Serenitea Post to increase their friendship level. Based on Adeptal Energy, two to five companion EXP are accumulated every hour. These accumulated comrade EXP can be evenly distributed among placed characters when players claim them from Tubby.

All characters placed in the Serenitea Pot require at least 12,000 Adeptal Energy to receive up to five companion EXP, which will be evenly distributed.

3) Resin related activities

Any activity that requires players to spend original or intense resins will also grant accompanying EXP to characters in the party. The amount of EXP varies from challenge to challenge.

Completing Ley Line debuts can offer around 20 joint EXP, while 45-70 EXP is handed out when players claim rewards after defeating regular or weekly bosses.

Claiming field rewards also grants players a certain amount of accompanying EXP. They can also do all the aforementioned events in a co-op sessions to double the amount of EXP.
