How to turn assists on and off in F1 22?
In Codemaster's F1 22, racing enthusiasts will be given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of some of the fastest cars around. Fortunately, F1 22 offers some help for new players.
Both new and returning players can choose to use the driving aids. The features offer a slight boost to the player's performance, similarly intended to be helpful in first-person shooter games by their nature. It can gently jog the car without the player even realizing it in the game.
Experienced gamers may find the driving aid annoying. After all, an experienced driver can understand that it is activated. On the other hand, new players may find it incredibly useful. Either way, both player camps have the option to enable or disable driving assist in the game.
If players want to use this feature or disable it altogether, here's how you can turn driving aids on or off in F1 22.
Driving assists can be found in the in-game menu of F1 22
To find various help features in the game, players can follow these steps: Step 1: Pause the game. You should try to change the assist during a race to make a more informed decision.
Step 2: Select the 'Settings' tab in the pause menu.
Step 3: In the 'Settings' tab, you will see 'Assist'.
Step 4: Highlight the specific driving aids you want to turn on or off.
F1 22 has a variety of driving aids that players can choose to use. It's great how diverse the options are and the game gives each player the opportunity to create their own unique setup. Driving assistant options include: Steering Assist
Brake Assist
pit assistant
Pitting Aid
ERS Assistance
DRS Assistance
Driving Proficiency
ABS Brake system
traction control
dynamic racing line
Dynamic Raceline Type
Gearbox
It should be noted that regardless of skill level, players have a few assists to consider closing. The first six supports listed above (Steering Assist, Braking Assist, Pit Assist, Pit Release Assist, ERS Assist and DRS Assist) should be disabled.
Steering Assist and Brake Assist apply an artificial control to the vehicle that players can notice and react negatively to. When activated, the car will almost feel like it's glued to a specific part. With Steering Assist and Brake Assist turned off, players have much better control over the vehicle and are more immersed in the racing experience.
Pit Assist and Pit Release Assist can also put a damper on immersion. When both are enabled, the game will automatically pit for the player. With the setting disabled, F1 fans will have to do it themselves and will be able to take advantage of the game's new pit stop mechanics.
Again, disabling ERS Assist and DRS Assist only adds to the F1 22's immersion. When turned off, players will have to use them manually like a real driver.
