With each new patch update, new characters are introduced in Genshin Impact and players are calling for them. 

The latest patch update brought Yelan as the new 5-star character who uses the Hydro vision and has mastery over the bow.

Players will need resources for Yelan's ascension, and Ruined Teeth is one of the most important ascension items they need to farm. Ruin Fang can be obtained from Ruin Serpents, a new regular boss added to Underground Mines of The Chasm in the previous patch 2.6 update.

The Ruins Snake is the latest normal boss added to Genshin.In the previous patch 2.6 update, when the Ruins Serpent, Chasm was introduced as a new playable region, players will have to complete the "Secret Seven-Star Seal Sundering" World Missions that will unlock the Abyss' underground mines.


The Ruins Snake can be found in Serpent's Cave, located in the western part of The Chasm: Underground Mines. As with any ruin automaton, the Ruin Serpent tends to be more resistant to physical attacks. Has over 70% resistance to physical attacks and over 10% resistance to other elements.

Players will need Lumenstone Adjuvant to effectively fight against Ruin Serpent. When players interact with the Ruins Snake with Lumenstone Adjuvants, the energy stored in the gadget will be reduced to 2.

Fortunately, there is an amazing cheat to bypass this, all players have to do is equip the Lumenstone Adjuvant once the fight has started. This method has been proven to bypass the initial energy drain.

Apart from gliding around the area and charging towards the characters, Ruin Serpent often summons dark mud called Oozing Concentration. Ruin Serpent can draw power from Oozing Concentration to unleash more powerful attacks. Players can choose to clear these concentrations using the Blooming Light of the Lumenstone device after spawning. However, there is a more efficient way to do this.

Clear the leaking concentration with the help of the Lumenstone Adjuvant device while the Ruin Serpent draws power from them to temporarily paralyze the boss. This will give players a good time to beat the boss or reduce a large portion of his health.

Here is a list of Do's and Don'ts that players should follow in order to effectively defeat the Ruins Serpent:

Avoid Physical Team, Use Elemental-based teams Instead
Team must have a Claymore or Geo user to break crystals to charge their Lumenstone Adjuvant device
At least one team member be a healer or protector

Team composition doesn't matter as long as players have strong DPS or well-formed characters on their accounts. However, for beginners who are still collecting new characters and haven't fully formed their characters yet, they need to follow balanced teams to defeat the Snake of Ruins in Genshin Impact.
