PMPL SEA Championship Spring 2022: Teams, schedule, prize pool and where to watch

PMPL SEA Championship Spring 2022 Spring, the final battle of the SEA region will take place from June 10 to June 12, 2022. 

The event will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be held offline.

The tournament will feature 16 SEA teams competing in 18 matches to determine the champion. The 16 teams consist of five Thai, four Malaysian, three from Indonesia and Vietnam, and one from Taiwan. Twelve of these teams qualified through respective PMPL battles, while three qualified with SEA Play-ins.

The reigning champions Team Secret were invited directly to the event. The team failed at PMPL Malaysia and finished 15th in the finals. The team was also struggling through the league stages and defending their title will be a huge task for them.

Team Bacon from Thailand was the most stable team in the region and they missed the championship by a few points. This time, they will try even harder to target the trophy. Dominating in 2021, Team Infinity will try to show their best performance in the championship as well.

ION, Evos and RRQ Ryu gave dynamic performances at different stages in PMPL and all have great winning potential. Vietnamese teams have always punched above their weight in the global tournament, but this time they want to go for the championship.

Popular Indonesian team Bigetron RA were unable to qualify for the championship as they performed poorly in the Play-Ins. The team finished fourth in PMPL Indonesia and qualified for Play-ins, of which only the top three made it to the event. He finished second in the 2021 Fall Championship.

Faze Clan, who placed second in the 2021 Championship, was also unable to attend the event. The team finished 13th at the SEA Play-Ins.

The event, which has a huge prize pool of 150 thousand dollars, will be broadcast live on the official PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube channel.
