PS Plus Essential free games announced for July 2022: Crash Bandicoot 4, Man of Medan and more

Next month's lineup of PS Plus Essential games leaked just a few days ago. As expected, Sony has confirmed that Crash Bandicoot 4, Man of Medan and Arcadegeddon will be added as PS Plus Essential games in July 2022.

PS Plus Essential games leak almost every month a few days before the official announcement, and usually these leaks are pretty accurate. However, players still have to wait for official confirmation from Sony about PlayStation-related leaks.

In July, PS Plus Essential will have Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time PS5 and PS4, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan for PS4 and Arcadegeddon for PS5 and PS4. These games will be available to claim for PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe members from July 5 to August 1. Players can claim this month's PS Plus Essential games like God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl until July 4.

Sony has recently launched its brand new PS Plus service in India with Essential, Extra and Deluxe tiers. The service now offers access to hundreds of games and benefits, depending on the tier you purchased. While Essential is pretty much the same as the old PS Plus, the Extra and Deluxe tiers offer access to much more games. PS Plus Extra and Deluxe tier members get several PS5 and PS4 games from first-party and third-party developers. Additionally, Deluxe tier members get limited-time trials for select titles alongside classic PlayStation titles.

With a huge PlayStation user base in India, it was not surprising to see the new PS Plus service getting a great response. The new PS Plus reportedly has record-breaking sales in the country and many existing members are happy to upgrade to higher tiers like Extra and Deluxe, thanks to more games and benefits.
