For the past few months, we've been hearing rumors about the launch of the Xiaomi 12 Lite. The device has finally been made official, albeit in a rather strange way. Xiaomi's Azerbaijan Instagram arm has started taking pre-orders for the Xiaomi 12 Lite, but the official website (so far) has made no mention of the device. Still, the Instagram post gives us a useful hint of what the Xiaomi 12 Lite will look like, what its specs and features will be. Let's have a look.

Xiaomi's Azerbaijan Instagram account recently published the pre-order details of the Xiaomi 12 Lite. According to the post, the device can be pre-booked by July 8 through the company's official website for the country. But this has not happened yet and the device does not appear anywhere on the website. But we can expect that to change soon.

Xiaomi 12 Lite features

Xiaomi 12 Lite will have a 6.55-inch 120Hz refresh rate OLED panel with HDR10+ support. Coming to the cameras, the device will have a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 32MP front camera.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will likely come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, which will likely be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. As for the software, Xiaomi 12 Lite will launch MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. Finally, the Xiaomi 12 Lite will pack a 4,300mAh battery with 67W fast charging support via the USB Type-C charging port.

Xiaomi 12 Lite price in India, launch date (expected)

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is expected to be priced between Rs 24,000 and Rs 30,000 in India. The device will most likely launch in the global market in July and will be able to reach the Indian market in Q3 of 2022.
